Los Angeles New Cinescope Pictures (NCP) announces their highly anticipated Sci-Fi project, Thrillseekers to move forward. The economy may be down - but Movies are going strong! With January 2009 setting new records for box office sales and last weekend's "Madea Goes to Jail" having the biggest box office opening weekend in February's history, Movies are on the rise and ticket goers are buying.
New Cinescope Pictures is one of the fastest growing Independent film studios and is gearing up for an exciting month. This month they will be starting pre-production on their first feature, Thrillseekers. Thrillseekers is a Sci-Fi Action Adventure film, which merges innovate CGI and unique live sets and actors. There has already been a great amount of buzz surrounding this film and with the Sci-Fi Action Adventure genre being the most popular among audiences and distribution companies this year, Thrillseekers is posed to be a success.
Robert Pfitzner heads New Cinescope Pictures. Pfitzner, who is a well-known independent screenwriter, penned Thrillseekers. Pfitzner is also attached to direct. He is already working on storyboards and is busy building a strong production team, visiting soundstages and talking to potential computer graphic artists.
Al Bravo has recently come on board of the project. Bravo is best known making waves in the industry with his first movie title The Wailer, a horror picture in the classic sense that was hailed by independent movie aficionados and horror fans alike. The Wailer 2 subsequently followed as well as Primitive Recall and A Day at the Bank. Bravo currently is wrapping up principal photography on Hit List. Thrillseekers is next on his endeavor. Pfitzner and Bravo have the ideal combination in order to produce a high quality, success driven Hollywood film.
New Cinescope Pictures is thrilled to be lined up with top independent film makers, with this year's Academy Awards for Best Picture going to an independent, 7 million dollar film Slumdog Millionaire, which just crossed the 100 million dollar barrier at the domestic box office. This is a good time to invest in independent films that stand out from the rest and New Cinescope Pictures provides that opportunity and security for its existing and future investors a like.
