1.)Eat Smaller Meals
Your main goal should be to eat less every day. This will force your body to use the stored up stomach fat as energy to fuel your body, rather than just taking the new calories. Your body will only resort to using your excess stomach fat for fuel if there is a lack of new energy coming, so it seems clear what has to be done.
2.)Eat more Often
This second step seems to directly contradict the first. How can you eat more and still eat less? This actually fits in perfectly with step one because instead of eating large meals,
you will be eating smaller meals, but more of them. This will counteract the obvious hunger that you would experience by just doing step one alone. By eating more often you will also
keep your metabolism burning at a high rate because there is a more consistent source of food coming, so it will have to keep up. Remember though, that the goal is to still eat less
overall during the day, so watch those meal portions. Just eat enough to keep from being really hungry. Also remember to drink more water, especially BEFORE a meal. This will help you feel the need to eat more than you should.
3.)Do Cardio Exercise
Cardio exercise is a key part of losing weight because it will get your heart pumping the fastest and cause you to burn more calories. Exercise however will not be enough to lose weight. By comparison, exercise can only be a small part of weight loss because it will never be able to burn at the same level as your body does naturally. But what it can do is to get your heart beating at a consistent rate and therefore make you burn more calories. 4.)Do Muscle Building Exercises
While exercise will not be able to seriously help you to lose weight, it can help in redirecting where that stored up weight goes. By doing muscle building exercises such as weight lifting,
your newly growing muscles will need extra energy to grow and be maintained. So if you keep your intake levels the same, then your body will have to pull from elsewhere to form these muscles and that means it will start breaking the excess fat off your body and convert it into muscle. So by building up your muscles, your body will start losing the fat that surrounds your stomach.
5.)Stick With it!
This is the step that will decide whether or not you succeed or fail. It isn't enough to just start doing these steps, you have to keep at it and see it through to the end. It may
start to get difficult and you may want to give up, but I urge you to see it through. Remember, it takes about 3 weeks to break bad habits and start new ones.
