Anyone can build a website. Basic HTML will do the job. But let us all accept, some website actually sucks. Some are poor in designs and layout, others are low in content and the list goes on. These things are commonly the drawbacks of a web site. Below are few basic fundamentals on developing a good web designing.

Content-
The most significant element for good web designing is to have quality and unique content. Many users go to a site for information that's why the content of your page should be beneficial and useful enough for your viewers to come back. Appealing graphics can be seen in a blink of an eye Therefore if your content is not enough then possibilities are your user will leave your website and never get back again. Your content should provide what the user is looking for.

Title-
It’s your website so it's your call on whatever title you want for it. Remember that, you should think about the viability of your website so always think for the benefit of your users or at least think from their standpoint because you are not the only one who visits the website. Good web designing requires your page title should be brief but explanative for two factors. One is that it is the same phrase that will appear on the top of your page which will remind your guest what site they are browsing. Secondly, is that once your visitor bookmarks your website then it will be more convenient for them not to edit it because it is already descriptive enough?

Grammar and Spelling-
Always remember to proof read because it can ruin the web site's integrity. Carefully consider grammar and spelling flaws.

Images and Fonts-
For good web designing the structure comes in a little. Keep in mind that each viewer has different browsers so layouts result differently from each and every browser. But obviously it depends if it was tested and programmed well to be compatible with widely used browsers. Additionally, not all fonts are presented on all computers. So I suggest a commonly-used font. Don't be overwhelmed in putting all the images in your resources. Keep it simple. Anyway, it will just add up to you page load time especially if the image file is large.

Page Length-
Articles are different from web content. You can write a very long article but writing for web content is completely different. Web content should be small and brief. Usually, if the content of a page, specifically if it’s the index page, is large enough that the visitor will have to scroll down to read it then it will definitely bore them and wouldn't even trouble to read that.

Links-
For good web designing select a quality link. This is your possibility to use your key phrases for a higher position in search engines. The tool tip should also explain where the link is going to. Most significantly, the link should be relevant to your site to prevent being a link farm

Contact us form-
This form is very helpful since you will never know if a user is encountering problems with your site. This way, not only you can get feed backs from your guests, but also you can correct the problem quick. In making a website keep in mind that you are attempting to please your target visitors and not just yourself. Step into their shoes and check if your website will catch the attention of your market.
