There are thousands of weddings that take place each year within the UK and finding a suitable wedding venue can be quite difficult especially when there are lots of guests involved. Castle weddings are probably one of the popular choices because a castle is usually a very grand venue to hold weddings and also great for shooting wedding photos due to the picturesque landscape and building.
There are over a hundred castles located in different parts of the UK giving wedding couples a large variety of castle venues to choice from. There are castles located in Wales, England and Scotland and there are castles which are easily accessible from the cities and towns.
Prices of castle weddings will of course differ from one place to another but weddings are never cheap and planning should always be in advance so there is time to save up for the special day. Although every wedding day will be a great day to remember, castle weddings are probably even more memorable because of how nice these castles are and where they are located.
The castles alone provide a variety of traditional features which cannot be found in any other venues and plenty of top quality pictures can easily be taken during the wedding which will add to the significance and speciality of the wedding day. The guests will be able to go round the castle which for those who have never been in a castle; to have a great experience and treat the day as a fantastic day out with friends, families or both.
A majority of castles will have event planners available where the bride and groom can plan the special day and also find out more about the facilities within the castle. Nearly all castles will be available for couples to hold their wedding but advance notice is required because some castles may be used for other occasion’s as well and not just weddings.
Overall, castle weddings are one of the most spectacular types of place to hold a wedding and it is highly likely that all wedding couples will have a great time in whichever castle they go to.
